Grounding Strip

In the construction of the building, it is necessary to ground the foundation while it is in the foundation stage. In the foundation grounding, the grounding strips are laid on the rebars in the form of stars or rings before the concrete is laid. Strip earthers should generally be buried 0.5m to 1m deep if ground conditions are favourable.

Grounding strips are connected to each other and to the construction iron with connection terminals. Meanwhile, the spreading resistance should take into account the moisture of the upper soil layer and the possibility of freezing. Our company Kartal Metal Galvaniz manufactures hot-dip galvanized grounding strips used in foundation grounding with a continuous production line in accordance with TS EN 62561-2 standard. Grounding strips galvanized with a continuous production line have a coating thickness of 50 microns.
